Cleaning the exterior
Use a soft damp cloth or sponge to wipe up any spills.
Occasionally wipe the outside of your washer to keep it looking
new. Use mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive products.
Cleaning the interior
Use the following procedure without any clothing. Your washer
interior should be cleaned at least once per month to reduce or
prevent any accumulation of mold or mildew odors.
Start by adding 1 cup (250 mL) of bleach into the detergent
dispenser. Continue by adding 1 cup (250 mL) of bleach
directly to the wash tub. This is the only time you should add
anything other than clothing into the wash tub. Select and run
the Regular/Heavy Soil cycle without clothing, using hot
water. Repeat this process if necessary.
Inspect the interior of the washer for lint and other debris that
may accumulate on the basket and rubber bellows. Remove
and dispose of any accumulation as necessary.
Leave the washer door open between cycles to allow the
washer interior to dry out.
NOTE: To remove hard water deposits, use only cleaners labeled
for washer use.
Cleaning the door seal
Use a soft damp cloth or sponge when necessary. Check the fold
of the seal periodically for any foreign objects.
Cleaning the dispenser drawer
The dispenser drawer is removable for easy cleaning.
1. Unlock the dispenser drawer by pressing on the plastic part
of the softener compartment marked "PUSH."
