There is NO indicator to show when the battery is charged. Charge for 15 hours to ensure a full charged battery. Note: the battery will not be damaged if charged for longer than 15 hours but should not be charged for longer than 24 hours. Adjusting the handle length: Grip the trimmer firmly and release the latch on the lower handle. Extend the telescopic tube to the desired length.
