    The HDMon Series is comprised of a number of models featuring different screen sizes. The TFT/LCD screens used are of exceptionally high quality with up to 85 degrees of off-axis viewing without the image and color distortions normally associated with LCD displays.

    HDMon Series User Manual P/N 821676 Rev-A Applications The HDMon Series is suited to provide high quality multi-channel digital audio and video monitoring in a compact form and is Ideal for use in VTR bays, mobile production vehicles, teleconferencing installations, multimedia systems, satellite links, cable TV facilities, and on-air radio studios.

    HDMon Series User Manual P/N 821676 Rev-A Installation Mounting The unit may be placed on a solid surface or mounted in a standard 19" rack using the optional mounting hardware. The unit should be mounted at approximately eye level for best visual observation of the LCD video monitor display although the display screen does offer exceptional off-axis viewing.

    HDMon Series User Manual P/N 821676 Rev-A Console and Serial Port Setup The Console application is integrated into the HDMon firmware and can be accessed using a terminal communication application like Windows HyperTerminal application. Connect a modem serial cable between the DB-9 Console connector on the HDMon rear panel to a serial port on your Windows computer.

When entering network information, press ENTER to accept the input values. See the chart below for a description of item selections in this menu.
