SYSTEM OVERVIEW
When an alarm occurs, both the touchpad and external sounders will sound, and a

Alarms

message at the touchpad will identify the zone(s) causing the alarm. In addition, an alarm
message will be sent to the ADT Customer Care Center. To stop the alarm sounding, you
simply disarm the system.
Memory of Alarm The touchpad displays the zone number and type of alarm for any zone that has an alarm
condition. These messages will remain displayed even after disarming until cleared by a
user. Note the zone number displayed on the touchpad and perform a second OFF
sequence to clear the "Memory of Alarm" and restore the "Ready" message display. If the
Ready message will not display, go to the displayed zone and remedy the fault (close
windows, etc.). If the fault cannot be remedied, notify the ADT Customer Care Center.
