GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Vibration damping system In countries that have a warm and dry climate there is a signiﬁcant risk of ﬁre. We therefore ﬁt certain mufﬂers with a spark arrestor mesh. Check whether the mufﬂer on your machine is ﬁtted with this kind of mesh. Your machine is equipped with a vibration damping system that is designed to minimize vibration and make operation easier.
GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Blades To ensure good cutting results it is important that the contact pressure between the blades is correct. The contact pressure is adjusted by turning the screws on the underside of the bar clockwise as far as they will go. Then turn the screws anticlockwise a 1/4 turn.
