Preset Tuning

You can store up to 10 stations into
memory.

Tune in a station you want to listen

to (see steps

of page 11).

Press the MEMORY button.
The PRESET indicator and a channel
number blink in the display.

Within 5 seconds, select a preset
location to store the station into
using the PRESET button.

Within 5 seconds, press the MEMORY
button.
The station is stored in memory.
Repeat steps

to

to store more
stations.

How to select preset stations
Press the PRESET button repeatedly until the
desired preset station is found.

Listening to an External Source

Connect the PHONES jack (audio
output jack) of a portable audio
player to the AUX IN jack of the R-2
using the supplied stereo mini plug
cable.

Press the STANDBY/ON switch to turn
the unit on.

Repeatedly press the FUNCTION
button to select AUX.

Play the source, and adjust the
volume using the VOLUME knob of
the R-2 and the audio player.
When using the PHONES jack of your mini
player, you must adjust the volume of the
mini-player or you may hear no sound
from your R-2.
