(2) Playback the Alignment Tape and set the track-
ing control into center fix position.
(3) Adjust A/C Head position by the Fine Adjustment
Gear Driver (VFK0330) to meet the signal fault
portion of the audio output and the video output
signals (Less than 15 msec.).
(4) After meeting the signal fault portion, adjust A/C
Head position by the Fine Adjustment Gear
Driver (VFK0330) until the video envelope is
maximized.

FINE-ADJUSTMENT OF X-VALUE
Equipment required:
Fine Adjustment Gear Drive (VFK0330)
(1) Connect the oscilloscope to the audio output and
the video output. Both output signals should be
fixed by the external trigger.
(2) Playback the alignment tape and set the tracking
control into center fix position.
(3) Adjust A/C Head position by the Fine adjustment
Gear Driver (VFK0330) until the video envelope
level is maximized at the tracking center fix po-
sition.
NOTE: During X-Value Fine Adjustment, in case the
video envelope level became O, Preadjust-
ment of X-value should be adjusted again
due to it is possibility to vary the X-value
adjustment.
