TROUBLESHOOTING CHART:

PROBLEM
Will not start
Hard to start
Engine will not
turn over
Engine clicks but
will not start
Loss of power
CAUSE
1. Out of fuel.
2. Engine not "CHOKED"
properly.
3. Engine fl ooded.
4. Bad spark plug.
5. Weak or dead battery.
6. Dirty air fi lter.
7. Dirty fuel fi lter.
8. Water in fuel.
9. Loose or damaged wiring.
10. Carburetor out of adjustment. 10. See "To Adjust Carburetor"
11. Engine valves out of
adjustment.
1. Dirty air fi lter.
2. Bad spark plug.
3. Weak or dead battery.
4. Dirty fuel fi lter.
5. Stale or dirty fuel.
6. Loose or damaged wiring.

1. Brake pedal not depressed.
