Splash Screen (Hard-reset) Performing a Clean Boot A clean boot resets the RP1100 to the factory default settings. All data in the Application folder is retained. The clean boot process erases the RP1100 memory, including all applications and data files in the object store.
RP1100 phone and data services require a live SIM card, obtained from a service provider, installed in the RP1100 phone. The SIM card has embedded circuitry on one side of its surface which, when inserted into an RP1100 phone, provides phone service. The SIM card provides a phone number, determines the features or services available to the subscriber, and identifies the subscriber to the network.
