Distance 3

To set a cruising speed
w
1. Press ON/OFF button
and the CRUISE indicator will illuminate in
the instrument cluster.
Accelerate to desired cruising speed (above 18.6 mph).

2. Press SET– button
and remove your foot from the accelerator pedal.
To accelerate or decelerate
e
Press RES + button
up to increase set cruising speed.
r
Press SET – button
down to decrease set cruising speed.
To cancel cruising speed
q
Press CANCEL button
or depress brake pedal, or press ON/OFF button
To set vehicle distance
t
Press the button
. Three distances are available:
- Distance 3 – 180 feet
- Distance 2 – 130 feet
- Distance 1 – 85 feet
Distances are approximate.
When there is a vehicle ahead in the lane
The vehicle will accelerate or decelerate to maintain the selected distance.

and other cautionary advisories on Smart Cruise Control.

ignition ON, apply pressure on the
brake pedal, and pull

transmission out of P (Park).

If necessary, emergency braking is
possible by pressing and holding the
EPB switch.
