Cruise Control/Direction
Indicators

To engage the cruise control system
Slide the control to the left (1). The indicator
lamp on the instrument panel will light.
To set the speed
When the car is travelling at the desired speed,
press the SET/+ button (2).
To disengage the cruise control system
The system can be disengaged in several ways:
• Depress the brake pedal or clutch pedal.
• Slide the control (1) to CANCEL.
• Set the control (1) in the OFF position.
Cruise control is disengaged if the ESP system
is operative for more than 1 second.

Can I disengage the cruise control
temporarily?
Yes. Slide the control (1) slightly to the left and
release it.
Can I increase speed temporarily?
Yes. Accelerate, without changing down a gear
(manual transmission), for example to overtake.
When you release the accelerator, the car will
return to the set speed.
Can I increase the set speed without
restarting the system?
Yes, in several ways:
• Accelerate to the desired speed. Then press
SET/+ (2).
• Press SET/+ (2). The speed increases by
1 mph (1.6 km/h) for each press.
• Press and hold SET/+ (2) until the desired
speed is reached.
Can I decrease the set speed without
restarting the system?
Yes, in several ways:
• Brake to the desired speed. Then press
SET/+ (2).
• Jog the control (1) to the right (RESUME/-).
The speed will decrease by 1 mph (1.6 km/h).
Repeat if you wish to reduce speed further.
• Hold the control (1) in the RESUME/- position
until the desired speed is reached.
