Warning, charging*
This light will come on if the battery is
discharging. If it comes on while driv-
ing, stop the car as soon as possible
and switch off the engine.
Oil pressure warning*
This light will come on if the engine oil
pressure is too low.
Gear selector indicator, automatic
transmission
Gear selected manually.
Engine malfunction*
This light indicates a malfunction in the
fuel or ignition system.
Automatic transmission, fault
indicator*
On a car with automatic transmission,
this warning symbol is illuminated if a
fault has been detected in the transmis-
sion.
Xenon headlight fault indicator*
This light indicates that there is a fault
in the Xenon head-light system, which
consists of xenon headlights and auto-
matic levelling system. If a fault arises
in the Xenon headlight system, the
headlights will automatically be angled
down.
Remaining fuel
This light comes on when there is less
than about 2.5 gallons (10 litre) of fuel
in the tank.
* Contact a dealer as soon as possible. We recom-
mend that you contact your Saab dealer.

Wipers
0 OFF
1 Intermittent/rain sensor wiping
2 Low speed
3 High speed
4 Washers (pull the lever to the steering wheel)
5 Sets wiper delay/rain sensor sensitivity
upper position: long delay/high sensitivity
lower position: short interval/low sensitivity
6 Rear window wiper (SportCombi)
Rainsensor 3: If the engine is switched off, the
stalk switch must be moved to (0) and back
to (1) to reactivate the rain sensor.
