Adjusting the line
1. Receive a NTSC cross-hatch signal.
2. Press the SERVICE SW S801 on the CONVERGENCE PWB
to enter the dynamic adjustment mode and a cross-hatch
signal appears.
3. Press the 100+ key to select green c olor. Then the center lines
of the vertic al and horizontal lines of the cross-hatch pattern
will flash.
4. Press MENU key to let green cross-hatch pattern to appear on
screen.
5. Using the 2(up) / 4(left) / 5(down) / 6(right) key, move the
flashing line.
6. Using the FUNCTION ( ▲ / ▼ / / ) key, adjust the position on
the screen as shown in Fig.1.
7. Sometime press INDEX key to do interpolation proc ess.
8. Press 0 key to select red color. T hen the center lines of the
vertical and horizontal lines of the cross-hatch pattern will
flash.
9. Repeat steps 5 ~ 8.
10. Press RETURN+ key to s elect blue c olor. Then the center
lines of the vertical and horiz ontal lines of the cross-hatch
pattern will flash.
11. Repeat steps 5 ~ 8.
12. After finishing the adjustment, press SELECT key twic e to
memorize the s etting data.
13. Press 0 keys five times and it changes a sc reen to the H7×V5
adjustment point mode.
14. Repeat steps 3 ~ 12.
15. Press RETURN+ keys five times and it changes a s creen to
the H13×V7 adjustment point mode.
16. Repeat steps 3 ~ 12.
17. After adjustment, press the SERVICE SW S801 again.
No te:
For overall c onvergenc e adjustment, the following should be done
in turn :
(1) H3×V3 coarse adjustment mode
(2) H7×V5 coarse adjustment mode
(3) H13×V7 fine adjustment mode
" You are unable to return to the H3×V3 mode from the
H7×V5 and H13×V7 modes, res pectively.
