BASIC OPERATION OF SERVICE MENU
TOOL OF SERVICE MENU OPERATION

Operate the SERVICE MENU with the REMOTE CONTROL UNIT.

In general, bas ic setting (adjustments) items or verific ations are performed in the SERVICE MENU.
1. PICTURE / SOUND ･･･････ ･･･ This sets the s etting values of the VIDEO/CHROMA /AUDIO and DEFLECTION circuits.
2. YC SEP ･･･････ ･････････････ This is us ed when the YC mode is adjusted. [Do not adjust]
3. LOW LIGHT ･･･････ ･･････････ This sets the s etting values of the W HIT E BALANCE circuit.
4. HIGH LIGHT ･･･････ ･････････ This sets the setting values of the WHITE BALANCE circuit.
5. RF AFC ･･･････ ･････････････ This is us ed when the IF VCO is adjusted. [Do not adjust]

7. I2C BUS ･･･････ ･････････････ This is us ed when ON/OFF if the I
8. PP ･･･････ ･････････････ ･････ This sets the s etting value of the output of P&P data.
9. IP ･･･････ ･････････････ ･･････ This sets the s etting value of the IP circuit. [Do not adjust]
0. SELF-CHK･･･････ ･･･････････ This sets the s elf checking of the TV c ircuit.
3. BASIC OPERATIONS OF THE SERVICE MENU
(1) Ho w to enter the SERVICE MENU.
Press SLEEP TIMER key and, while the indication of "SLEEP
TIMER 0 MIN." is being dis played, press DISPLAY key and
VIDEO ST ATUS key on the remote control unit simultaneously
to enter the SERVICE MENU screen as shown in the fig.1.
(2) SERVICE MENU screen selection
Press the number key to s elect any of the following items.
1.PICTURE/SOUND
2.YC SEP
3.LOW LIGHT
4.HIGH LIGHT
5.RF AFC
(3) Enter the any setting mode
" 1. PICTURE / SOUND mode
1) Select the 1. PICTURE / SOUND items with the number
key, and the FUNCTION ( ▲/▼) key is pressed the 1.
PICTURE / SOUND mode, the screen will be displayed as
shown in figure page later.
2) Then the settings or verifications c an be performed.
" 2.YC SEP, 3.LOW LIGHT, 4.HIGH LIGHT, 5.RF AFC,
7.I 2 C BUS, 8.PP, 9.IP and 0.SELF-CHK mode

mode items, and the numbers key is pressed from
SERVICE MENU, the each screens will be displayed as
shown in figure page later.
2) Then the settings or verifications can be performed.
