Important recommendations
Before attempting any installation work, it is very important to check how much space is available
to fit the speakers into the vehicle.
Key points:
• Ensure the speaker is clean from debris and metallic particles that maybe attached (especially after drilling).
• Clean before mounting the speakers.

  • Page 5 INTEGRATION IFVW GOlF 6 U s e r m a n u a l Dismantle the door panel (using the FOCAL tool provided). Remove the door panel. Dismantle the door controls. Remember to reconnect the door cable after installation.

  • Page 7 INTEGRATION IFVW GOlF 6 U s e r m a n u a l Disconnect the original speaker connector. Drill out the original rivets (x4 per woofer). Separate the speaker from its mounting (using the Use the drill bit provided with the IFVW Golf 6 kit.
