Troubleshooting
Symptom
No Display;
display remains unlit
No Tone
The icon
flashes
Base or handset does not ring
Tone is good, but can not make
any connection
Handset does not respond to
keyp presses
Possible cause
Batteries fitted
Batteries discharged
Handset turned off
Telephone cord badly connected
Line is occupied by another
handset
Handset out of range
Base has no power supply
Handset is not registered to the
base
Ringing volume is zero to low
Dialing mode incorrect
System error
Solution
Check fitment and polarity of the
batteries
Recharged the batteries
Turn ON the handset
Check the telephone cord
connection
Wait until the other handset
hangs up
Bring the handset closer to the
base
Check the mains connection to
the base
Register the handset to the base
Adjust the ringing volume
Adjust the dialing mode (pulse/
tone)
Remove the batteries for at least
1 minute before replacing them
again
