PRE-INSTALLATION

Installation of this product should be carried out by an appropriately qualified person. Ensure the product has arrived in
good condition and that the impeller is free to rotate.

HANGING THE FAN

The fan must be visible from its switch/controller unless a suitable means of disconnect is used at the motor. The fan
intake must be 0.3m from any obstruction. If the fan is to be hung below ZOO Fans are designed to be hung vertically or at
an angle. For vertical installations, proceed to STEP 1 below. To install your ZOO Fan at an angle, additional hardware is
required (all thread).

STEP 1: Fasten Main Hanging Cable and Stabilization Tether

Using the hardware and cable from the 200LB bag, attach the 2.4m Cable and fit the hardware as shown in Figure 1. Using
the hardware and 3.7m cable from the 100LB bag, attach the cable and fit the hardware as shown in Figure 2.

  • Page 2 STEP 2: Hanging the Fan and securing the Gripples Hang the fan using the Main Hanging Cable to the Truss, I-Beam, or support beam using the Gripple supplied (Figure 3). Pull the cable through the Gripple until the desired height is achieved. When this is done, attach the Stabilization Tether to the Truss, I-Beam, or support beam using the Gripple provided.
