Thermal Management:
JBL DrivePack systems are cooled by Passive Convection. No fans are used in any part of the thermal
®
management system. To maintain efficient cooling it is a good practice to assure open space around the
DrivePack units.
Avoid exposure of the DrivePack to direct sunlight. In the event of excessive exposure to direct sunlight in very
hot ambient conditions, it is possible that the unit may overheat and will automatically shut down to protect
itself. The DrivePack will turn back on when its internal temperature has returned to within normal operating
range. To prevent overheating always ensure adequate cooling and appropriate shade.
Operating Temperature:
The system will remain touchable during quiescent operation and will not provide a burn hazard during any
operating condition.
