This unit is equipped with a grounding plug for your protection against shock hazard and should be
plugged directly into a properly grounded receptacle. Do not cut or remove the grounding prong from

When using an outdoor grill light, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock, and/or personal injury including the following:
1. C C A A U U T T I I O O N N : : The light bulb gets hot quickly and will remain hot while in operation. Touch only the switch or plug
when turning on or off.
2. Turn off, unplug, and allow to cool before changing bulb.
3. Do not look directly at the light bulb when on.
4. Do not touch hot lens, visor, or enclosure.
5. Keep away from flammable materials.
6. Use only a 20-watt halogen bi-pin (G4 base) replacement bulb.
7. Use only a 3-prong extension cord with a 3-prong receptacle and plug that is approved for outdoor use. Always
match plug and receptacle from extension cord to same designed plug used on light.
8. GFCI should be used for wet location outlets. Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection and should
be used for safety measures.
