  • Page 6 Locate the vehicle’s trunk release wire at the trunk release switch. Verification: This wire will register either positive voltage or ground when the trunk release is activated.     This wire will supply a ( - ) 500mA pulse both upon arming the system and upon successful completion of the remote start activation sequence and is typically used to re-lock the vehicle’s doors upon remote start if necessary.
