Head restraint position

The midd le of the head restraint should be
at eye lev el. I f this is not possible for
extremely tall persons, set to highest
position, and set to lowest position for
small persons.
Disreg ard can lead to injuries which
could be fatal. Vehicle p assengers
should be informed accordingly.

He ad res traints
Front seats and outer rea r sea ts
To enlarge lug gage compartment,
remove outer rear head restraints 3:
Release the tw o springs by pressing them
and deta ch the hea d restraint.
The rea r head restraints in the convertible
cannot b e ad justed or removed.

C entre rear seat
To fold down the rear seat backrests or to
improve visibility if the centre rear sea t is
unoccupied, the hea d restraint can be
pushed all the way down. Release both
springs by pressing them and fold the head
restraint down.
If the centre seat is oc cup ied, set the head
restraint to the first or second position
acc ording to the height of the passenger.
