Adjusting the master volume

Use VOLUME df to adjust the volume.
• The variable range differs according to the input signal and channel
level setting.

• You can also adjust the master volume by turning MASTER VOLUME on the main
unit.

Turning off the sound temporarily

Press MUTE :.
• "MUTE" indicator on the display flashes.
• : appears on the TV screen.

• The sound is reduced to the level set at "Mute Level" (vpage 60).

• To cancel, press MUTE
again. Muting can also be cancelled by adjusting the
master volume.

Switching the brightness of the display

Press DIMMER.
Adjust the display brightness of this unit.
Bright : Normal display brightness.
Dim : Reduced display brightness.
Dark : Very low display brightness.
Off : Turns the display off.

• When the brightness of the display is set to "Off", the display turns off and appears
as if there is no electricity.

Playing a DVD player/Blu-ray Disc player

The following describes the procedure for playing DVD player/ Blu-ray Disc
player.

Prepare for playback.
Turn on the power of the TV, subwoofer and player.

Change the TV input to the input of this unit.

Press POWER X to turn on power to the unit.

Press DVD or Blu-ray to switch an input source for a
player used for playback.

Play the DVD player or Blu-ray Disc player.
