You can obtain an IP address for your print server by using one of the
following methods, depending on your network operating environment.
See IP Addressing, on page 121 for detailed instructions on IP address
management.

When assigning an IP address manually you need to know the Ethernet
address of the print server. The Ethernet address is based on the print
server's serial number, found on its underside label. Example: A print
server with the serial number 00408c181cf0 will have the Ethernet
address 00 40 8c 18 1c f0.
