proper installation and normal residential
use, on level ground. Please follow the
instruction manual when building your
Sunshed and retain the manual for future
maintenance purposes.
Some of the safety and usage measures you may wish to consider include:
-snow load ratings vary by geographical location. If heavy or wet snowfall occurs, it is advisable to sweep the
snow off the roof(s).
-if the product is elevated, any structural and building code requirements are solely the customer's
responsibility, and should be abided by.
-in high or gusty wind conditions it is advisable to keep the structure securely grounded.
-have a regular maintenance plan to ensure screws, doors, windows and parts are tight.

  • Page 7 Bottom Wall Plate Starting with Solid Wall Panels, carefully lay panel face down. Position and attach Wall Plate to bottom of wall studs of each wall panel with 6 - 2 1/2” screws. Position so plates are flush with framing. Note, some Bottom Wall Plates may already be attached to some Solid Walls. Starting at the Rear Left Side, position a Solid Wall Panel on top of plywood floor.
  • Page 8 Position rear solid wall into place on plywood floor. Butt both vertical wall studs of side and rear walls together and attach with 3 - 2.5” screws. Screw at the bottom, middle and top of stud to secure properly. Do Not Attach Walls To Floor at this stage.
  • Page 9 Be sure that rear wall panels fit between the side wall panels (sandwiched). Position and attach Rear Window Wall Panel to Solid Wall Panel as per Step 16. Locate 2 Side Solid Window Walls and position on left side. Position and secure Wall Panel studs together as per Step 16.   • Page 10 Wall panel will sit flush with ply- wood/floor framing at front of shed. Front Side Wall Panel will sit flush with plywood / floor framing at front end when positioned correctly. Position Rear Short Side Double Window Wall on floor. Position and secure Wall Panel studs together as per Step 16.
  • Page 11 Place 2nd Window Wall Panel Position and attach Narrow Wall Panel to left side wall stud in front and attach. Insert Window Insert as per Step 18 . Position and with 3 - 2.5” screws as per Step 16. Note, Narrow Wall are 73” high attach Wall Panel as Per Step 16.
  • Page 12 When all walls are attached together, check alignment with the floor. Bottom wall framing should sit flush with outside of floor joists and plywood floor. When positioned correctly, fasten bottom wall plates to floor using 4 - 2.5” screws per wall panel. Bottom Wall Framing Lap Siding of panels will fit together.
  • Page 13 Locate and position an Angle Extendor Wall on the rear wall of Sunshed. Align once again so 2x3 frame lines up with previously installed Wall Extendor and regular wall panel. When correctly in place, secure with 3 - 2.5” screws per piece. Align and attach remaining Wall Extendors as per Step 30-31.

    E. Miscellaneous Section Attach Bottom Skirting around the base of the shed. Skirting will hide floor 1 1/4” screw from siding into wall plate framing. The side skirting pieces will meet together in the center. Gaps on outside will be covered by Wide Trim pieces later.

Note, the Narrow Trim on the Short Wall side is only 79” long. Attach with 6 - 1 1/2” finishing nails per piece. Align Trim so flush at bottom of bottom skirting. Mid Ridge Caps for Lexan...
  • Page 28 Complete remaining Mid and Outside Ridge Caps for Lexan Panels as per Step 81 & 82. Attach Front and Rear Facia (angle cut on ends) to end of roof battens. Starting with Short Roof side, line up a 38 1/4” long Facia piece so Facia end lines up with rafter ends. Attach Side Facia to roof rafter ends.
  • Page 29 Attach 78 3/4” long Front and Rear Facia to roof batten ends and Outside Ridge Cap edge. Use 6 - 1 1/2” screws per piece. Once again, Line Facia up so it is aligned with rafter ends. Do a dry run with Front and Rear and Side Facia to confirm correct positioning prior to attaching. Attach remaining Side Facia to roof rafter ends as per Step 85.

  • Page 32 Completed Potting Shelf Setup. Optional Chord Rafter Attachment: For geographic areas where additional support may be required for the roof, an Optional Chord Rafter is included and can easily be installed. Locate Chord Rafter. It is 3/4” x 3 1/2” x 48” long and angle cut on both ends.
