TouchPad button board (includes cable)
TouchPad Miscellaneous Kit (includes TouchPad bracket and TouchPad button board actuators)
Before removing the TouchPad board and TouchPad button board, follow these steps:
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the

computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and

then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Turn the top cover upside down, with the front toward you.

Release the ZIF connectors on the TouchPad button board (1) and TouchPad board (2) to which the

Disconnect and remove the TouchPad board cable (3).
