Thank you for purchasing the JBL OnBeat™
Air AirPlay speaker dock. This quick setup
guide will show you how to set up your speaker
dock to join your home Wi-Fi® network.
For complete connection and operation
instructions, please read the supplied
JBL OnBeat Air Owner's Manual.
STEP 1

• Turn on the device that you want to use as the AirPlay audio source. This source could
be an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch device with iOS 4.2 or newer, or a Mac or PC computer
with iTunes 10.1 or newer.
• Make sure the device is configured to work on the available Wi-Fi network.
STEP 2
• Plug the JBL OnBeat Air's power supply into the DC In connector on the unit and into a
working AC outlet.
• Press the JBL OnBeat Air's Power button to turn the unit on. The unit 's Status LED will
flash green for a few seconds.
