DTS bitstream is output during playback of the DVD recorded in DTS.
Select this setting when the player is connected to the DTS decoder.

The settings are completed, and the screen in step 3 reappears.

Press the RETURN button.

The optimum digital output setting depends on the type of component connected to the digital audio output connector.
When nothing is connected to the digital audio
output connector
When an amplifier equipped with a digital input
connector and with no built-in
decoder is connected to the digital audio output
connector (see page 1 I)
When a Dolby Digital decoder is connected to the
digital audio output connector (see page 12)
When a Dolby Digital DTS decoder is connected to
the digital audio output connector
NOTES:
1. When connecting an amplifier (with an optrcal/coaxral digital input connector) which does not contain the Dolby Digital or dts decoder, be sure
to select "PCM" at the "2 Dolby Digital" and "Off" at the "3 dts". If "Bitstream"
level of noise that it may be harmful to your ears and damage your speakers.
2. Audio output from the player's audio output connectors is converted to 48 kHz as well as audro from the digital audio output connector.
To enjoy high quality sound at 96 kHz, connect the amplifier or decoder directly to the audio output connectors, not to the digital audio output
connector. (Select "No" at the "1 PCM Down Conversion".)
