CAUTION: At the bottom of the player there is shipping screw for use when the player is transported. Before using the player, turn the shipping screw (located under the player) counterclockwise and remove it.

    DVD-Video Video CD Audio CD The following types of discs cannot be played on the DVM-4800: Discs that cannot be played PAL discs (the audio on DVD-Audio can be played), DVD-RAM (2.6 GB, TYPE 1), DVD-ROM, DVD-R (some DVD-R can be played), CD-ROM, CDV, CD-G, +RW, DVD-RW, CDV, SVCD, SACD, Divx Video Discs and Photo CD.

  • Page 9: Cautions On Handling Discs

    Only the discs including the marks shown on page 8 can be played on the DVM-4800. Note, however, that discs with special shapes (heart-shaped discs, hexagonal discs, etc.) cannot be played on the DVM-4800. Do not attempt to play such discs, as they may damage the player. Holding Discs Avoid touching the surface of discs when loading and unloading them.
