DVD-Video Video CD Audio CD The following types of discs cannot be played on the DVM-4800: Discs that cannot be played PAL discs (the audio on DVD-Audio can be played), DVD-RAM (2.6 GB, TYPE 1), DVD-ROM, DVD-R (some DVD-R can be played), CD-ROM, CDV, CD-G, +RW, DVD-RW, CDV, SVCD, SACD, Divx Video Discs and Photo CD.
Only the discs including the marks shown on page 8 can be played on the DVM-4800. Note, however, that discs with special shapes (heart-shaped discs, hexagonal discs, etc.) cannot be played on the DVM-4800. Do not attempt to play such discs, as they may damage the player. Holding Discs Avoid touching the surface of discs when loading and unloading them.
