The front panel USB port is available to connect a USB peripheral device (flash drive, CD-ROM drive, printer, etc.) to the CL5708 / CL5716. Any computer connected to the CL5708 / CL5716 can access the USB peripheral on a one-at- a-time basis. The peripheral device is available to computers connected to the CL5708 / CL5716 on the same level only, and is not available to computers connected to daisy chained switches.

OSD Hotkey You can display the OSD on the LCD or an external console monitor while also viewing the display of any port on the CL5708 / CL5716 by pressing the [Scroll Lock] key twice. Note: You can optionally change the OSD hotkey to the Ctrl key, in which case you would press [Ctrl] twice (see OSD Hotkey, page 36).

Chapter 4. OSD Operation F2: LIST This function lets you broaden or narrow the scope of which ports the OSD displays on the main screen. The submenu choices and their meanings are given in the table below.
