Remove the eight Torx T8M2.5×8.0 screws (2) that secure the top cover to the base enclosure.

Remove the four Phillips PM 2.0x3.0 broadhead screws (3)
5.
Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
6.
Disconnect the fingerprint reader board zero insertion force (ZIF) connector and the TouchPad
board zero insertion force (ZIF) connector from the system board.
7.
Remove the three Torx T8M2.5×8.0 screws (1) and the two Torx T8M2.5×8.0 screws (2 ) that
secure the top cover to the computer.
8.
Lift the rear edge of the top cover (1) and swing it up and forward until it rests at an angle.
9.
Disconnect the microphone cable from the system board.
