Telescoping Antenna

You can receive VHF and UHF
broadcast signals by using the built-in
telescoping antenna, which provides
good reception for the TV.
Extend the antenna vertically to its full
length for channels 2 through 6 (VHF-
LOW) and 14 through 69 (UHF).
Extend the antenna to a shorter length
for the best reception of channels 7
through 13 (VHF-HIGH).

Outdoor Antenna

For improved reception, you can
connect a standard outdoor VHF/UHF
antenna to the
EXT. ANT.
back of the TV.
If an outside antenna or cable system is
connected to the product, be sure the
antenna or cable system is grounded so
as to provide some protection against
voltage surges and built-up static
charges. Article 810 of the National
Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70,
provides information with regard to
proper grounding of the mast and
supporting structure, grounding of the
lead-in wire to an antenna discharge
unit, size of grounding conductors,
location of antenna-discharge unit,
connection to grounding electrodes,
and requirements for the grounding
electrode.
Notes:
• Your local RadioShack store has a
wide selection of antennas and
adapters to choose from.
