Never cover the appliance and adapter during
charging.
3 After charging, remove the adapter from the
wall socket and pull the small plug out of the
appliance.
Preparing for use
For optimal results and greatest effect, prepare the
areas on which you intend to use the appliance in
the manner described below.

Preparing treatment areas

1 Always shave the areas you intend to treat
before you use the Lumea Plus for men.
The Lumea Plus for men can only be used on a
shaved skin.
Note: Philips recommends that you use the Philips
Bodygroom included in the package to preshave the
areas to be treated with the Philips Lumea Plus for
men. Use the Philips Bodygroom dry because the Philips
Lumea Plus for men can only be used on dry skin.
Note: If your last depilation method involved removing
hairs by the root (e.g epilating, waxing etc.),
wait until you notice significant hair regrowth before
you use Philips Lumea Plus for men.
Note: Do not use depilatory creams instead of shaving.
