Xantech XtraLink™ IP -
The Xantech XtraLink™ IP is a fully functional stand-alone IP-to-serial remote access controller with internal
web server. In addition, it functions as a remote expansion port for the XANTECH series of IP-based control
systems. Featuring an RS-232/422/485 port, a POE capable LAN port, and a MicroSD card slot, the
XANTECH XtraLink™ IP is the ideal solution for providing LAN based control for serial devices.

WEB INTERFACE
To Connect to XANTECH XtraLink IP Web Page:
1. Apply Power
2. Connect LAN
3. Open Web Browser
4. Enter IP address of the Xantech in address bar (default = 192.168.1.10)
5. Login as follows:
• User - admin
• Password - admin
XANTECH XTRALINK IP WEB INTERFACE MENU:
General Settings:
System Info and set Password
Network Settings:
Set IP Static / DHCP / Host Name
Port Settings:
Set Baud Rate and Communication Method

Quick Start Guide

To restore unit to default settings:
- Power-up XtraLink™ IP
- Press-n-hold reset button for >= 5 seconds.
- IP Address now static at 192.168.1.10 / 255.255.0.0

  • Page 3 6. Enter the Static IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway for the XTRALINK IP unit 7. Enter a HostName if required. Note: if using multiple IPRS232 XTRALINK IP’s make sure each unit has a unique IP address and Host Name. 8. Click Apply Changes to save current settings.
