Input Channel

Two mixer input channels are shown below.
The controls available on the input channels are as follows:
Audio source select
This is the button at the top of the channel strip; when no source is selected to the channel, it will

To include previously-recorded DAW tracks, or audio from other computer applications into the mix,
select the two relevant

Clicking the button offers two lists:
Inputs opens a list of all the available Scarlett 6i6 inputs, and

input not available is greyed-out.
Note that channels may be mono, or in pairs for stereo operation.
Stereo operation "borrows" an adjacent channel and lets you
control both left and right legs of the stereo signal with a single
fader. See page 23 for details of mono/stereo channel definition.
Note that an input can only be assigned to one channel in each
mix. If it has already been assigned, it will be greyed-out on other
channels.
