Replacing the Battery

Procedure

1 Close the display and turn the computer over.
2 Align the screw holes on the battery with the screw holes on the
palm-rest assembly.
3 Replace the screws that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.
4 Connect the battery cable to the system board.

Postrequisites

Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 10.
