Replacing the Fans

Procedure

1 Connect the fan cables to the system board.
2 Connect the camera cable to the I/O board.
3 Align the screw holes on the fans with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
4
Replace the screws that secure the fans to the palm-rest assembly.

Postrequisites

1 Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 17.
2 Replace the base-cover assembly. See "Replacing the Base-Cover Assembly" on
page 12.
