To Use the SLEEP Timer To Cancel the Timer: While the air conditioner is operating or stopped, press the Use the TIMER MODE button to select SLEEP button (Fig.

    www.sylvane.com 1-800-934-9194 ADJUSTING THE DIRECTION OF AIR CIRCULATION Vertical (up-down) direction of airflow is adjusted by pressing the Remote Control Unit’s SET button. Horizontal (right-left) airflow direction is adjusted manually, by moving the Air Flow Direction Louvers. Whenever making horizontal airflow adjustments, start air conditioner operation and be sure that the vertical air direction louvers are stopped.

    www.sylvane.com 1-800-934-9194 MINIMUM HEAT OPERATION • The room temperature can be maintained at 50 °F by pressing the MIN. HEAT button (Fig.6 b-3) so as to prevent the room temperature from falling too far. To use MINIMUM HEAT OPERATION While MINIMUM HEAT OPERATION is in progress, the following opera- tions/features cannot be used Press the MIN.

The SWING Display (Fig. 7 c-4) will light. In this mode, the Air Flow Direction Louvers will swing automatically to direct the air flow both up and down.

    www.sylvane.com 1-800-934-9194 CLEANING AND CARE G Before cleaning the indoor unit, be sure to turn it off and disconnect the Power Supply Cord. CAUTION! G Be sure the Intake Grille (Fig. 1 a-8) is installed securely. G When removing or replacing the air filters, be sure not to touch the heat exchanger, as personal injury may result.

    www.sylvane.com 1-800-934-9194 TROUBLESHOOTING In the event of a malfunction (burning smell, etc.), immediately stop operation, turn off breaker, WARNING! and consult authorized service personnel. Merely turning off the indoor unit’s power switch will not completely disconnect the unit from the power source. Always be sure to disconnect the Power Supply Plug or turn off your circuit breaker to ensure that power is completely off.
