Avoiding theft
To avoid theft, remove the unit and
mount from sight when not in use.
Remove the residue on the wind-
shield left by the suction-cup mount.
Protecting your navigator
• Do not store the unit where pro-
longed exposure to extreme tem-
peratures can occur (such as in
the trunk of a vehicle), because it
can cause permanent damage.
• Do not expose the unit to water.
Contact with water can cause this
unit to malfunction.
Notice to drivers in California
and Minnesota
State law prohibits drivers in
California and Minnesota from using
suction-cup mount on the windshield
while operating vehicles. Check your
state and local laws and ordinances
for similar restrictions. The dashboard
mounting disk or friction mounting
options should be used.

Mounting on your dashboard
Use the supplied dashboard mount-
ing disk to mount your unit to the
dashboard to comply with certain
state regulations.
1. Clean and dry the dashboard
where you are placing the
dashboard mounting disk.
2. Attach the dashboard mounting disk.
3. Place the suction-
cup mount on the
top of the dashboard
mounting disk.

Resetting your navigator
If the unit does not respond, press
the RESET hole using a ball point
pen or a similar tool.
Cleaning touch screen
Clean the touch screen with a soft,
clean lint-free cloth.
