Initialization

You can restore settings to their factory
defaults by clicking Restore LinkStation. You
can choose to either keep the current admin
password after initialization, or revert the
password to its default setting of "password".
You can also restore factory settings with the
following procedure:
1. Move the power switch to the 'Off' position.
The LinkStation will shut down after about 45
seconds.
2. While holding down the function button,
move the power switch to the 'On' position.
The function button will begin to flash blue.
3. While the function button is still flashing,
press it again. Initialization may take several
minutes.
