2.3.1 Dynamic IP
Choose the Dynamic IP selection if your ISP will assign you an IP
address automatically. Some ISP's may also require that you fill in
additional information such as Host Name, Domain Name and MAC
address (see chapter 1 "Cable Modem" for more detail)
