Usable Cartridges

System Components

Data cartridges used with the AITe90 must be marked with the AIT-1 logo.
The AITe130 can be used with data cartridges marked with the AIT-1 or
AIT-2 logo. The AITe260 can be used with data cartridges marked with the
AIT-1, AIT-2, or AIT-3 logo. The AITe390 can be used with data cartridges
marked with the AIT-1 (read only), AIT-2 (read only), AIT-3 or AIT-3 Ex
logo. The AITe520 can be used with data cartridges marked with the AIT-4
logo.

Caution
• Be sure to use only the cartridges designed specifically for AIT.
• Do not use anything but AIT cartridges with this system, as doing so can
damage the AIT drive. Although commercially available 8mm videotapes
resemble AIT cartridges in appearance, they have entirely different
specifications and cannot be used.
The AITe520/AITe390/AITe260/AITe130/AITe90 connects to the host
computer via on Ultra Wide LVD/SE SCSI interface.
