Drain, flush, and refill cooling system with
appropriate antifreeze mix.
DC Alternalor
D D D Check DC charge from alternator. Check mounting
bracket; tighten electrical connections.
Transmission Oil Cooler

Remove; have professionally cleaned and pressure
tested.
Engine Transmission
D Chattering at idle and low rpms is an indication
Damper Plate of damper plate wear. Remove and replace.
*Fuelln/eclors
D
Check and adjust injection opening pressure 'and
spray condition.(see ENGINE ADJUSTMENTS)
*Slarter Molor
D D
Check solenoid and motor for corrosion. RemoVe
and lubricate. Clean and lubricate the starter motor
pinion drive.
*Preheat Circuli D
D
Check operation of preheat solenoid. Remove and
clean glow plugs, check resistance value of heater
element (0.9 Ohm). Reinstall with anti-seize
compound
.on
the threads.
*Engine Cylinder D D Check compression pressure and timing (see Engine
ComRression Adjustments).
*Adjusl1he Valve Clearances D D D Adjust Valve Clearances (see ENGINE
ADJUSTMENTS).
*Heal Exchanger D
Remove, have professionally cleaned and pressure
tested.
Lubricale Panel Key Swilch

At first 100 hours, Ihen each year at winterizing.

Transmission Fluid
