Hooking up the Active Subwoofer

a Remote control
connection
Connect one end of the
remote control cable into
the REMOCON OUT jack
on the HDD/DVD recorder
and the other end to the
REMOCON IN jack on the
active subwoofer.
b Digital audio connection
(OPTICAL)
Connect one end of the
digital audio cable
(OPTICAL) to the
DIGITAL AUDIO
OUTPUT (OPTICAL) jack
on the HDD/DVD recorder
and the other end to the
DIGITAL AUDIO IN
(OPTICAL) jack on the
active subwoofer.

c FM antenna connection
Connect the FM antenna to the FM ANTENNA
jack on the active subwoofer. The reception will be
at its best when the two loose ends of the antenna
are in a straight and horizontal line.
d Speaker connection
Speaker cable is colour-coded by a band near each end.

In front of you, to the right of

the screen
Connect the red end of each wire to the terminals marked +(plus) and the
black end to the terminals marked -(minus). To connect the cable to the
active subwoofer and the speakers, press each plastic finger pad to open
the connection terminals. Insert the wire and release the finger pad.
