• Greater value – The MSL2024 Tape Library provides
an incredible amount of backup and recovery storage
without consuming valuable rack space in an entry-
level package. Ultrium 960 tape technology offers
9.6 TB of native storage capacity in a 2U form factor.
• Simplifies IT – Integrated web-based remote
management capability allows a remote administrator
to control and troubleshoot the device, thus relieving
the customer of costly on-site IT resources.
• Integrated solution – Standard bar code reader
provides faster inventory times and facilitates tracking
of media.
• Agility in storage and movement of data – For
dedicated import/export of media cartridges, each
library includes one user-enabled mail slot. The library
includes two removable 12-slot magazines for bulk
loading of media and also provides a convenient
bulk storage unit for moving media off-site.
• Investment protection for performance and capacity
needs – Choose library capacity with one Ultrium 960
Tape Drive or up to two Ultrium 448 Tape Drives.
Upgrade the performance of the tape library from one
to two Ultrium 448 Tape Drives through the addition of
a second Ultrium 448 Tape Drive.
• Flexible interface – SCSI and FC interfaces provide
options for installing the tape library into a SCSI or
SAN environment.
