Thank you for purchasing DLS all-weather speaker.
This manual will show you how to do a correct instal-
lation. Please read the entire manual before you begin
installation.

Installation
The speakers are rather heavy which must be taken in conside-
ration at the install. Fasten the speaker bracket to a solid and
stable surface with two stainless steel screws.
The speaker box can be installed hanging from the ceiling, on a
wall or standing up using the tilt able bracket.
NOTE! On a boat, avoid an installation close to any magnetic
compass; the speaker magnets can influence the compass
needle.
The MB8 is weather resistant, designed for use outdoors and
indoors.
The MB8 is also well suited for use in garden terraces and pu-
blic use like shops, restaurants etc.
Break-in period
Allow the speakers to play at normal volume for at least 15-20
hours. After this time the performance is correct.

Safety Considerations for boat installation:
Your speakers must be installed in a manner which does
not interfere with your vessel's factory installed electronic
devices. You should also take the time to securely mount
them so that they do not come loose in the event of a col-
lision or a sudden jolt to the vessel.
- Check before drilling any holes in your vessel to make
sure that you will not be drilling through the hull, a fuel tank,
a fuel line, wiring harness or other vital vessel system.
- Protect all wiring from sharp edges (metal, fibreglass,
etc.) by carefully routing them, tying them down and using
grommets and loom where appropriate.

The terminals accept 4 sq mm / AWG11 cable size
wire. Banana plugs can also be used.
