Convenience Food Toasting
Many varieties of packaged convenience food are available, both frozen and non-
frozen (shelf pastry), that can be toasted in your toaster.
Since toaster foods and individual tastes vary, it is difficult to recommend the exact
toast setting. Experiment, starting with lower toast settings, until you discover the
best setting for your needs. Also refer to the heating instructions on the food
packaging for guidance.
Shelf Pastries (Non-Frozen)
Move the toast setting dial to the desired color. For thicker convenience foods, it
may be necessary to adjust the toast setting for a longer toasting cycle.
Frozen Foods
Move the toast setting to a darker color setting. Due to variation in size and density,
frozen items will require different settings. Moving the toast setting dial to the right
towards "Dark" will provide a longer toasting cycle.
Thawing frozen foods before toasting will help ensure the inside of the food is
adequately warmed and will prevent the outside from burning. Again, experi-
mentation is the best way to determine the appropriate setting.
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do
not try to repair the appliance yourself.
CAUTION: Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
1.

2.

a pastry brush or paper towel. Insert the crumb tray securely into the toaster.
