Removing The Heatsink

1. Follow the procedures in
battery .
2. Remove the
memory card .
3. Remove the
ExpressCard .
4. Remove the
access panel .
5. Remove the
memory module .
6. Remove the
optical drive .
7. Remove the
hard drive .
8. Remove the
WWAN card .
9. Remove the
keyboard .
10. Remove the
palm rest .
11. Remove the
WLAN card .
12. Remove the
hold switch .
13. Remove the
ExpressCard board .
14. Remove the
display assembly .
15. Remove the
system board .
16. Remove the
17. Loosen the four screws (for discrete graphics) or three screws (for
integrated graphics) that secure the heatsink to the system board.
