adjusting the Custom Picture

Your set has several settings which allow you to control picture quality.
1. To select the desired picture effect, follow the "Using Automatic Picture Settings"
instructions number 1 to 2.
2. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select a particular item.
Press the EntEr/oK button.
3. Press the ◄ or ► button to decrease or increase the value of a particular item.
Press the EntEr/oK button.
4. Press the ExIt button to exit.
 Contrast: Adjust the lightness and darkness between objects and background.
 brightness: Adjust the brightness of the whole screen.
 Sharpness: Adjust the outline of objects to either sharpen them or make them more
dull
 Colour: Adjust the colours, making them lighter or darker.
 tint(G/r): Adjust the colour of objects, making them more red or green for a more
natural look
When you make changes to "Contrast", "Brightness", Sharpness", Colour" or
"Tint(G/R)" the OSD will be adjusted accordingly.
"Tint" is not activated in PAL-M Signal and PC modes.
Each adjusted setting will be stored separartely according to its input mode.

Samsung's new TVs allow you to make even more precise picture settings than previous models. See below to adjust detailed
picture settings.
activating Detailed Settings
1. Press the mEnu button to display the menu.
Press the EntEr/oK button to select "Picture".
2. Press the EntEr/oK button to select "Mode".
Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select "Standard" or "Movie", then press the EntEr/
oK button.
3. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select "Detailed Settings", then press the
EntEr/oK button.
"Detailed Settings" is available in "Standard" or "Movie" mode.
This function is available in PC mode
