Brewing Iced Beverages
Your iced tea and iced coffee taste best when fresh-brewed hot over ice.
Try it by placing a tall cup filled with ice on the Drip Tray Plate, choose
your favorite K-Cup
portion pack, select the brew size and press the
®
BREW Button. Also, look for the Brew Over Ice
icon on portion packs
that are specially crafted to brew over ice!
IMPORTANT: Do not brew into a cup made of glass. Doing so may cause the
glass to crack or break.
Dispensing hot Water
Your Brewer can dispense hot water for instant soup, oatmeal or other needs.
1.
Place a mug on the Drip Tray Plate. If you've just completed a rinse or hot
water cycle, proceed to step 4.

Lift the Handle and check the K-Cup

cycle is in progress, the selected brew size icon will be displayed on the
LCD Control Center.
Following the hot water cycle, your Brewer may display "NOT READY" as it
heats water for the next brew cycle. After your Brewer indicates "READY
TO BREW," the RINSE and HOT WATER Buttons will be available for use
for about one minute. During this time, you can dispense another cup of
hot water or perform a rinse cycle without lifting the Handle. After this
time, the Brewer will return to idle mode.
NOTE: To brew directly after a hot water cycle, lift the Handle, insert a portion
pack and brew as normal.
