The Dolby Digital mode allows you enjoy Dolby Digital sound
effect fully with the speakers are connected to the television.
This allows various modes for the main, center, surround and
woofer speakers to be selected.

Press the MENU button.
Result: The main menu is displayed.

Move the joystick up or down until the Sound is selected.
Result: The options available in the Sound group are displayed.

Move the joystick right.

Move the joystick up or down until the Dolby Digital is
selected. Move the joystick right.
Result: The Dolby Digital menu is displayed with the Pro
Logic is selected.

Select the option (AUTO, On or Off) by moving the joystick left or
right. Press the joystick button (

N You can select these options simply by pressing the
SURROUND button on the remote control.
N For further details of output depending on the each
options, refer to page 27.

If you wish to adjust the volume properly during night viewing,
select the Dynamic Range by moving the joystick up or down.
7 Select On or Off by moving the joystick left or right. Press the

Move the joystick up or down until the Speaker Setting is
selected. Move the joystick right.
Result: The Speaker Setting menu is displayed with the
main left speaker is selected.

Select the speaker (Main Left, Center, Main Right, Surround
Right, Surround Left, Woofer) to be adjusted by moving the
joystick left or right.
N The Woofer option can control the External Woofer only when
Audio Out is set to Volume. (For more details, refer to the
page 28)
N The output of the built-in woofer is changed depending on the
output of the main speakers.

Depending on the speaker, the following settings can be adjusted
to suit your personal preferences.
N Test tone to simulate the volume
N Size
N Volume level
N delay time of surround channel

When you are satisfied with the settings, press the joystick button
( ) to store them.

When you have finished, press the TV button to return to normal
viewing.
